Hi, my name is Izzy. I came from a bad situation and when I entered the program I was emaciated and didn't know much about being a dog, none of which was any fault of my own. However that has all changed, my foster parents think I'm one fine dobie these days!

Everyone tells me I'm a very pretty girl, I am also a nice petite size, perfect to cuddle (wink- wink). But in all seriousness, here's a little more about me- I love to play, with a friend or by myself, with toys or even a good game of catch/tag. As much as I love to play, I also enjoy relaxing with my person, you can read or watch tv and I will sit on the floor and hang out right along with you. I am happy being in my crate and don't mind spending time there while you run errands or are off at work as long as I have a toy or two. My foster parents and auntie tell me I am perfect in the car, I just lay there like a statue and you almost forget I am there. I also love casual walks and am such a lady on leash. My human foster sister often holds my lead on walks- she's one awesome kid!

I always enjoy making new friends (person or dog) and although new dogs are fun are first, a lot seem to push my buttons after a short while, especially the ones smaller than me. Kitties are alright and don't phase me either way. Just some dogs really get to me, but not all. Dogs just seem to keep me a bit on edge when they are always there, I just don't completely relax. I remember being the only foster and wow that was the good life! BUT don't get me wrong, I do love my doggie play dates, especially with those handsome blue boys. Ah, they get my heart racing!!! But sometimes at the end of the day, I just want all the focus on me, where I can love on you and you can give me sweet belly rubs. Is that too much to ask?!?

Foster Note:  Izzy is possessive of her toys. Izzy should be placed as the only family dog. She really wants to be the only child!
